Made this topic, so we could compare eachothers K/D ratios, and see if we're any good!

 

Note: I do not play with friends, only strangers in free-roam.

This stat is irrelevant. All you are proving is that you are a dink who roams around the map killing other players.

 

Most people roam he map doing objectives/shopping/etc...

a high K/D in free roam, if anything, is a bad thing. I don't know if there is a stat for K/D in jobs. If so, that might matter a bit.

There is no problem to kill other players, I've only Killed 1 player in Free Roam but that was self-defense, he shot me twice, I ran around a corner, he followed me and I Plugged him.

 

But calling someone names for killing players is lame.

It literally gives you NOTHING to run around the map and hunt other players. At this point he is just doing it to be a nuisance, which makes him a dink.

 

Now, if they change it so you can actually pick up a decent amount of money from a player you kill, that would be different. But $100 is not even close to worth it.

Agreed. Any bounty is legit in my books as well.

I generally only shoot people if they have a bounty or if they've shot at me first, so other people tend to get the first and often fatal shot on me. I don't mind though--it's kind of boring to just run around shooting everybody when you can have other kinds of fun with people if you're not killing them.

Haha no, I've hated CoD since Black Ops.

I love GTA:O, because you have to be tactical smart, in order to get the kills, and few deaths.

If I were some maniac, just roaming the streets to get kills, I'd possibly have way more deaths than I have, I let the players seek me, then they get the bullet lol

Same. I tend to be too trusting, which gets me killed a lot. One time there was a dude walking toward me with his SMG out, and I was holding the same weapon. We both took aim, waited a second, put our guns down, and walked past each other without incident. Gave me some hope :p

2 kills - 3 deaths. Actually 1 death. The others were the weird you were killed by someone during loading mission screens.

This is where you are wrong. If you have a bounty on you worth at least 5k... i'm coming for you.

 

I have a 2.something k/d just from bounty hunting. I'm killed by the NPC's more than players, lol.

I have a K/D of just over 1. I'm cool with that number. If somebody randomly kills me I hunt them.

I could have a 100 k/d. K/d means nothing in GTA Online. If you wanted to, you could kill random players who aren't even playing. Players who won't even shoot back because they think you pulled up to them to help them, not kill them.

 

k/d is irrelevant in GTA.

Haven't even attempted to shoot at a player yet, don't play deathmatch either yet I've been killed a couple of times by players. This just shows that there are people killing others that aren't even looking to fight and it's very easy to do. I have no problem with it happening, I'm just trying to show that k/d has absolutely no value in this game whatsoever. If anything there are probably more who are not looking to pk than people that are

I could have a 100 k/d in GTAOnline if I wanted to. You just kill people who aren't playing or catch people off guard. You would NOT have that k/d if you played TDM all the time. Free-Roam can make anyone's k/d godly. Just saying.
