Mansions/Houses in GTA:O

Anyone think that eventually we will be able to purchase multi-million pound mansions from

I know there was a SP mission which involved this site but it seems a shame to waste those beautifully modelled buildings.

I had assumed there would be houses and trailers as well. It's bizarre that we can't own any houses in Paleto Bay, or Sandy Shores, or just out in the middle of nowhere.

I do think we should be able to own houses, mansions but they need to do smth about people who will get into your mansion. Like disable them to get in your house at least, so you will be protected, but they will still be waiting on your yard

I personally don't think houses will ever be opened because it would be an issue if two players owned the same house in the same session.

 

Right now, it can be explained away if they live at the same location because they just live in a different unit in the building

Never because they can't be instanced properly due to having a one of a kind exterior.

There is a suburban area on the east side of the map which has some nice family houses. Was dissapointing to see we couldn't purchase any of those.

It won't make any difference, we can already buy the same apartments as our friends. All we need is the entry points to be the automatic gate and the fence gate for the house and let us buy a separate garage.
