Never. The very idea of paying for an ingame advantage is ridiculous. I could buy a whole new game for the money it costs to advance a little in another, one I'd actually plan on playing instead of buying my way through.

Once they figure out how to properly reward missions based on level and not some flat rate missions will more than likely become replayable again.

 

It follows that those who are a higher level have played longer so therefore should be rewarded accordingly. More money and more exp, that way there is incentive to helping those with lower levels.

 

This will also make it fair for those that wish to grind one mission and those that wish to play everything there is in the game.

If you knew anything about FTP titles you wouldn't be, only a very small percentage of the user base of FTP titles actually pay, but those that do pay, spend alot.

 

I put maybe, I don't think I've ever spent money on an FTP title, but never say never.....

I actually bought one on day one, before they shut it down. Was up early, saw an expensive apartment, realized it would take too long to earn 230k and spent $20. Bought the apartment, an infernus, a 9f cabrio, and everything else I could afford before I lost the rest of the cash to cloud server issues (that turned out to be my own damned fault)

 

And I'll buy another one too. Maybe a few.

 

I'm sure plenty of people who aren't members of this forum will be buying them too.

YES, people fail to understand that in order to maintain an online game you need a revenue! A singleplayer game you build and than you are done. With online you are ALWAYS developing and you need to eat in order to continue developing. So yea i will show my support!!

I've bought about 10 cash card packs so far, before they went down for maintenance. I'm not a turbo autist who can sit and grind Noob's Duct for days on end, I've got little free time, cash to spend and R* has a product worth paying for.

If I get exhausted in trying to get money by normal means (unlikely however), I might get one. But I doubt I ever will, since I don't usually give money to free-to-play games. And to think about it... I have never played a P2P-game, lol.

 

Also, I'd require my own debit card for such micro-transactions which I don't have, so that decreases the chances too. I want to feel a bit of achievement in getting e.g. money to get a Garage for example.

I have no immediate plans to as I don't have much of a problem earning money atm, and I don't even farm. I'm pretty careful about spending it too, so that helps. BUT .... I'm not ruling it out because the game is far from complete. Who knows how things like heists being added, the editor, DLC, etc. may change things.

Also, I really don't understand this "purist" attitude, honestly. If you love the game, support future development with your wallet if you can or are so inclined. But, for the love of God, get off you self-righteous high-horses and stop insulting those who will be literally funding the continuation of this game. It costs a lot of $$ to develope software and add ons and servers and maintenance and what have you. Just because R* made oodles on this game doesn't mean they can afford to continuously support it. The cash cards will help ensure that continued help and support. Don't you realize how backassward it is to flame and insult those willing to support the game with thier wallets? Not to mention sickeningly ungrateful. So someone who buys a card gets some advantages? Don't they deserve it for supporting the game? Or do you really believe you are supporting an on-going and expanding game by just merely playing and bitching about how others are playing?
