Ok lets have a serious discussion here. I read many complains, that R* is fixing the Money farming, exploits and so on.

Did you really thought this game would be free to play? I mean really free to play? Lets face it, its a free to play, where you can! buy stuff.

We paid 60$ for GTA SP. And that was worth every cent imo.

Of course they want to make some more money with GTAO and that a fair thing. They will sell us DLC, Moneycards, Weapons, nice little cats and so on. You don´t have to buy and still can have a deamn fun time online.

 

Now some people try to cheat the system buy making money in a way that is not meant to be. And R* removes it. I think its absolute a fair move. You can still farm, but I never understand whats the fun of this, especially if you have all you can reach within some days. And what then? No more things to do,

 

Whats your opinion and why do you farm, when you farm? (I´m really interested in)

I agree that it's a fair and logical move to change it. Because of cash. But I dont think it's it's logical to bemoan the play-habits of others. Those who are supposed to be old enough for this game grew up on grinding. It's old hat and the way many games MUST be played. From this point of view, being unhappy with 'fixes' seems quite natural.

It's really fun not an exploit, and you make alot of money even if you can't make it all the way through. Thats only ONE good way to get money without exploiting.

 

There are PLENTY of VALID ways to make money. People just want everything given to them these days.

As I have read from the people comments,the amout of cash getting from all the missions in this patch was dropped by 50-60%.

I don't know if is that true or not, cant test right now. But if its true, then u will make money very and very slow, and the only way to buy something will be buing cash by real money...Which I think is the point of Rockstar politic.

By myself I can tell it on 100% that I will not play this game, whatever funny will it be, if I could not be able to make decent money myself without pay any real. Other way this is a f*kin ramp.

I'll better pay every mounth a subscribe and getting all what I need in a couple of time like the other peoples, than spending 100-200$ for one appartment and one supercar.

Take in mind, that with future DLC will come things which will cost a lot more money...

If you're spending time intentionally earning RP and cash regardless of how you're doing it, you're farming. But BEWARE! It's only bad if it's the same one mission! But don't worry about doing Survival or Races until your eyes dry up - nobody will bash you for that. It's only when you repeat a single mission.

I'm glad they fixed it, i farmed my way back up to my original lvl and then they patched it. it would suck to have everyone lvl 100+ with n00bs breaking their controllers in half out of frustration

If you just play missions and races with people and level up, you can easy make 50-100k per hour. That means in just one day you can buy the best apartment and the nicest car. I don't think it is just money Rock star wants. I think they want you to keep playing the game if you had 10,000,000 per day you would have everything in the game unlocked and be bored in a week. If you think this game is hard to get money, go play Aion or Tera. That sh*t takes months and months to get the best gear.

But option 1 & 3 will give you much more money! But in the same time it will be really boring doesn´t it?

Thats the point I don´t get. Only benefit of quick money is a big apartment and some fast cars. But to reach it you play a game like its a Job! (Farming for me feels like working)

I play the game Like this: First thing I do sell a car, some free roam, play some missions, rob some shops, go on a revenge tour on someone who killed me, race some races.

After 3-4 Hours I will have +10.000$ (spend some on clothes, hospital bounty and so on)

Thats Ok, but most impotent I have fun playing the game.

 

I don´t say farming is bad or should be removed (glitches and exploits should) I just don´t get the Idea behind this strategy.

 

Long time Games where build on farming, because there was not enough to do, or it would take to long to get to a certain level. Imo when you have to farm in a game, thats because of poor game designing. Reaching the 1,5 mio don´t take that long.

I have every right to farm, if that is my cup of tea.

 

I have NO RIGHT to cheat, via glitching / exploiting. And it IS glitching / exploiting if I circumvent a replay button / function that is not there, or it was not designed to be there.

Nothing wrong with farming. Personally I don't understand why people do it rather than play, but each to their own. That said, there is also noting wrong with R* fixing exploits either. Make use of exploits while you are able (if that is your thing) but don't complain once they are fixed.
