Rockstar releases a fix for exploits in the game that made their money packs worth dick but still "Continue" to look into the vanishing characters. Doesnt feel good to be cheated out of money does it rockstar? anymore information on this awesome patch feel free to post under this topic.

This would be a valid argument if R* actually sold cash cards... Last I looked they took them down till everything was working to keep the game fair.

 

AND they have a solution to the "vanishing" characters, they had it 3 days ago if you were to read into it.

On the one hand you can argue that it's way easier to go in and change one variable in the game's coding from a value of 9000 to 3000. That takes probably 5 minutes.

 

On the other hand, you can say that it speaks volumes about their priorities.

Yeah i guess you could say youre "HALF" correct on the money cards but like I said in my post. It made the cards worth dick. people grinded those 9k missions for hours by the time they "Fixed" everything my statement wouldve made true. and im not crying over here, son. you should be just as outraged as anyone else... have you ;lost any of your characters? money? house? car? you get the point im making??? and as far as their fix for vanishing characters please close your cock sucker because there are thousands of unhappy people that can speak... youve clearly been on rockstars website. please tell those people that rockstar fixed that issue.

You know. This whole thing is a pile of bullsh*t.

Tens of thousands of players lost their characters and spent a few days waiting for Rockstar to give them back, while the lucky few were farming and farming and farming millions.

Now I've rolled a new character and all the farm-able missions are no longer repeatable.
So I've been f*cked twice by Rockstar - Lost my character, and after coming back to the game I am being denied of doing the same thing that everyone that DIDN'T lose their characters did for a few days.

They aren't punishing the farmers, they're punishing the other guys. c*nts. I won't catch up, no.

pretty simple really and it leads back to how the game is funded.

 

R* are a business, not a public service. In order f or them to provide a great GTAO world, it needs funding and cash income if it is to grow. One way, as has been dsicusse don many a thread is selling in game cash for real cash. That has to be 'worth it' if people are to buy it. If you can double the cash card money in game so easily, no one will by the cash cards. R* lose a big chunk of continual funding, decide the game is not profitable to keep running and they close the servers as happens on many MMO games over time.

 

Look at it this way. I find games more interesting if you have to work hard and graft to rise the ranks. Any where you level too quikcly and you lose interest. Those who become uber rich without any effort or expense in GTAO will be bored pretty quickly and likley to lose interest and stop playing.

 

I would suggest we stop looking for faults with what R* do and realise there is generally a much bigger picture behind the scenes than just trying to spoil peoples fun.

The chars were gone because they had to much money on them. Try having up to 15 k at all times and never more and you'l be fine.

Of course it's down, there are so many issues with the game, but I find it mildly amusing that they're focusing so much on what people here define as an "Exploit".

Exactly my point. They knew their pockets were gonna get lighter with the restart 9k missions. And the missing characters have nothing to do with how much in game money they have considering I still had 80k in my maze bank account after my guy met his fate. Sorry not sorry who ever sticks up for rockstars failed attempt clearly likes taking it hard in the ass
