GTA: Online - The Titanic of the Gaming Industry

Well I'm getting plenty of cash. No farming or Micro transactions for me. Just chill, get some mates & go do missions, races, SURVIVALS, parachute jumping n shizz... it is what you make of it & I make it FUN

How tragic it is...the similarities between the Titanic and GTA: Online. A ship thought to be unsinkable, and a game thought by nearly everyone (myself included) to be unbeatable. But because of nothing less than sheer stupidity on the part of the people in charge, both were fatally crippled in their infancy before either had a chance to shine and live up to all the hype.

This bit right here is actually terrifyingly spot on for sake of comparisons, I have to give you that. But, unlike the Titanic which literally killed people and ended at the bottom of the ocean destroyed, GTA online is still alive and will continue to be for many years. GTA online is planned by R* to be a multi-year project. You think 2 weeks of glitches will stop that? I don't.

And btw...SWTOR has the titanic title.

APB never had the sheer amount of intial cash placed in it as SWTOR did. It has actually already repaid G1 back already through its ingame premium cost.

Ever since i got online I've never farmed and never felt like i needed to... I'm level 32 and can get along just fine without needing to mindlessly farm for hours upon end. Honestly, people who complain that they can't farm are just bad at the game in general, at least they must be, because there are far more options to earn cash completely legit without farming or anything like that, and yet all they can do is complain that it's gone rather than just move on and play the god damn game.

RTW (founded by Dave Jones, the same Dave Jones that was involved in the first few GTAs) poured over 100 million into it before it failed. G1 bought it for 10 million or less I believe.
