Gta. Because this ain't call of duty son! lol And i say the because the free aiming is heavy and a bit unresponsive, at least for me.

Seriously though. Don't underestimate the fighting mechanics. In GTA 4 for example every weapons was like it's own little tool that had it's special purpose. And the aiming mechanic allowed for more strategy based confrontations. I'm glad it's still like that.

Personally, I'm fine with the aiming, I just wish we could free aim while driving without having to pull the trigger. Seems like as soon as I get on target I'm out of ammo and have to reload. It's not like they couldn't have done it either. Did we need 2 different handbrake buttons? Or that sh*tty cinematic camera on a main button? Oversight, oversight, oversight. >.<

Soft Lock should be the main one. Easier to head shot. And it's funny to see the noobs yelling at me because they use hard lock xD. I play on Red Dead Redemption style. People that Got prestige 5 on RDR will play better on GTA V

I feel like it's harder to finder people to play with on free aim. Like everybody is on assisted, which I find disappointing.

The aiming on this game is pathetic especially the AI, I try lock onto a target that is a threat at a distance and it locks me onto the nearest one hiding behind a bin whilst the one I wanted to kill kills me! Then I am unable to lock onto enemies that are at a distance yet they can headshot me with a pistol from that very distance?! They have stupidly high accuracy which I think makes it horrifically unbalanced, that is without talking about the stupidly clunky cover system. I am lv40 atm and I am about to give up for good as it does nothing 'well' just 'okay'. How this game got through testing is beyond me?

Free aim is more fair. Every shot, every hit, everywhere for everyone is only based on skill.
Nothing else, no assist or who pops up L2 and spray the faster.

Yes it's kinda hard, but you need practice. But in the end it makes GTA experience and PVP (or even PVE) 10 times better.

When playing SP I used free aim, I liked lining up my own shots, and the frantic shoot outs you'd have in missions were made more tense because you had to aim yourself whilst being shot at. Online I use assisted as everybody else does and I don't stand a chance otherwise.

AI's in GTA V have great aim, they are able to kill you easily. Most of the time i try to be stealthy to avoid the cops.

Free aim. Nothing harder to set the aim right with the damm analog.

No for real i have free aim and i love it. Its more challengin and fun.
