This is where rockstar went wrong

Today's gamers are used to theme park mmo's and rpg's even skyrim a sandbox RPG is really a theme park game when you look at it

 

And the missions in GTA are standalone there's nothing holding there hands to the next part of the game so it becomes a repeatable bore fest fast

 

Sandbox games are about making your own fun and doing the grind to get money to do more fun stuff best example would be Star Wars galaxies

 

You buff up which lasts for 2 hours then go to a mission terminal and pick up 2 destroy missions finish them them pick up 2 more then keep doing this for 2 hours

 

Once that's done you have the money for your PvP armour and you can go have fun f*cking sh*t up in the galactic war

 

Now with GTA 90% of the players are carebears who don't want to fight in a sandbox environment which defeats the point of the game thus giving it no meaning ending in this sh*t storm

Exactly people keep crying their eyes out about how other people are "beating" the game(even though it doesn't effect them even a tiny bit) when they are too god damn stupid to realize you can't "beat" an online game! You can't "beat" free roam lol you can have more tools to have more fun and more things just to make your guy look cooler but it's not like if you get 1million dollars and rank 80 you can press up on the dpad and everybody on the map dies and it says gameover you lose to be continued in gta 6 and kicks you off permanently til the next installment.

Nope am having fun I run missions and fill up on ammo then go terrorise LS with my crew when I start running low on cash to restock I do a few missions again

I think allowing players to kick other players is where they went wrong. There are NUMEROUS avenues for one to take to avoid pvp: Solo session, invite only, crew session, and passive mode. Given that, allowing players to kick other players, in addition to being redundant, allows a large party on a server to hunt and kill, and boot any decent opposition from the session.

 

Has happened to me numerous times. It is being abused and is redundant. It is almost a game breaker for me. Will be in a few weeks as I am sure I will get tired of not being able to pvp without the fear of a group of children kicking back into GTA cloud server purgatory. Not to mention the added pain of trying to get back on a server with my friends, which in and of itself is a small miracle.

 

The player kick is their biggest mistake. Well this AND the plethora of technical issues they neglect to fix and instead prioritize fixing a farm mission to protect their micro transactions. Rockstar online is beginning to die before it even starts just like every single other Rockstar MMO experience.

 

I will recoup some money back for beta testing this online catasrophe when I take my game back.
