Why not just buy a cash card instead of farming?

A genuine question! Aren't the cash cards cheap? Why not just buy a cash card and get say the best apartment?

 

$100,000 Red Shark Cash Card – £1.99
$200,000 Tiger Shark Cash Card – £3.49
$500,000 Bull Shark Cash Card – £6.99
$1,250,000 Great White Shark Cash Card – £13.49

 

Is £7 a lot of money for something you'd enjoy for maybe a year or more?

Because cash cards don't give RP. Farming gives both. But since I don't have a character right now I won't be doing both!!

Genuine answer here. Because I've paid for a game disk that not only includes a great single player story mode, but also a free multi player mode where they advertise cash and progress are easy to earn and I can enjoy the game with my friends.

 

Now, how can we enjoy a FREE multi player game if there are only a few guns to choose from and slow cars to drive. No jet fights and no tank parties.

Whats the point of being a thief if all you want to do is buy the heli, boat,car, house then what, where's the sence of achiement working your way up through the bad paying jobs, that one would expect being an up and comeing Crook. Still your game your dosh enjoy

Because I already paid for the goddamn game. I even bought the collectors edition.

f*ck, for that much money they should have given me a free cash card. I'd gladly trade the stupid as sh*t hat and useless moneybag I got for some in game cash.

Long story short; I will not support this method of nickel and diming a gamer for content already on the disc they bought. That's some EA and Capcom sh*t right there, and I'll have none of it.

i bought my game for the multi-player, its the single player that was the added bonus.

Last i checked, cash cards were disabled, so your argument is quite invalid.

Why bother paying real cash when you can make 100k in less than half hour with 4 people playing Violent Duct ?

I was thinking about it I'm actually a huge supporter of it But the way they are going bout it is miserable I haven't seen something this bad since an IGG game.

 

I was fine with it while it was an optional thing, Now it's mandatory and they are showing it in the most disgusting way like nerfing missions and releasing all these patches to stop you from getting cash while you are still having ingame. They are basically saying we don't care if your characters are gone, We don't care if you can't log in to the game, We don't care if the cloud servers are down BUT we do care that you are getting money and we will put a stop to that right now this second it's the highest priority.

im going to be buying cards for the game without a second thought. I used to play APB and this is normal. I dont play all day every day as I have business to run and family to talk to. I will be buying the sh*t hot cars, big house and all the fluff i can muster from the cards (as soon as i can get my hands on them that is nas they seem to be down all the time!)

Get away with putting optional micro transactions as low as 1.99 so they can keep developing a progressive project for your enjoyment?

 

Everyone needs to shut the f*ck up. Everything is too hard or too unfair. It's completely fine to introduce micro transactions, it's that or force everyone to pay a monthly subscription fee or some sh*t.

 

1) It isn't too hard to make money. It's fine. Have some endevour or patience and you might actually have fun.

 

2) If everyone would play the game as intended and not resort to farming the same sh*t mission over and over, Rock* wouldn't nurf mission pay outs.

 

3) Has anyone spent an hour playing races and other jobs? That's what needs to be nerfed. The amount of money you can get is ludicrous.

 

OP is right. If you're going to choose to get nothing out of the game by repeating the same mission over and over, just buy cash cards. Totally valid reasoning.

Because Time = Money. People should be able to spent an hour on the game and make an hours wages. At least minimum wage. That's what grinding is.

Because farming is free, can be fun with a good group, and it levels your character and your characters skills.
