Farming missions over and over which makes you able to afford everything in less then a week is fair you say? Not everything should be handed to you... Cause even without farming missions over and over there's still good moneys to make. Between losing characters, repetetive missions, not being able to log on at all, and struggling to make money. When I turn on my ps3, it's game time. JmanBassman Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I ejoyed the farming missions while they lasted, but I'm kind of glad it's fixed. No, I didn't make 9 million + like some people, just enough for an apartment and nice car. I'm glad I can go back to just playing the game instead of trying to stay with the curb of farming missions for money/RP. Do I think it was an exploit? Farming wasn't, but the destroying the coke stuff was definitely an exploit in all definitions of the word. Farming is just grinding, you'll find it in any other game. I feel sorry for those that didn't get the chance to farm, though. This is the second time they've been screwed over by R*. It almost makes me wish R* would do a reset and give people X GTA$ to start off for this whole fiasco. Farming wasn't fun, and the only reason I was doing it was to try and keep up with my friends because they were doing it. I'm totally fine with it being nerfed. EDIT: To those saying "they fix this but not fix blahblahblah wahwahwah!!" IT's not that simple. They have different teams that work on different areas of the game. Not everyone is working on server issues, or exploits, or customization. They have a team for heists, a team for DLC, a team for technical issues, etc. This was a VERY simple fix to simply remove the replay option. The missing characters/server issues is NOT that simple. It's not that they prioritized this over anything else, it's that this got finished first. P.S. Totally makes sense they nerfed farming missions so people buy cash cards that are unavailable with no date of return yet. /sarcasm I agree with you here that it makes sense to sort out the exploits, It obvious a team like R* split their resources. Were talking about a long life game here, You can't have people farming millions of dollars in a few days, it completely destroys the economy in-game kind of. This doesn't mean they aren't spending any time on the character deletion issue anymore.. They don't need their whole team for deleting a button !! Senor Salami Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I knew the replay of missions was a glitch. All over the online forums all you saw plastered was "Violent Duct". I'm pretty sure some people from Rockstar take a peek here at what's going on. You had to expect they would take it down. I loved it because it was something I could solo and make some decent cash.
