Hi

 

So I joined a mission and it gave some sort of message to say my aim mode would change, did the mission with free aim enabled but since then I cant seem to get it back to assisted!

 

The option to change it under settings>controls is greyed out even in passive mode.

 

can anyone help me get it back as I'm sh*t at aiming and from a car it's just useless.

head back in to SP (singeplayer) and change your aiming there, youre welcome bddy

Try changing it in single player.. i heard thats the way to do that.

I had this, not 100% but believe there are free-aim servers and not, so would suggest trying to exit online, change setting, log back online. Or some combination of those elements.
