Does it take too long to make money?

So I'm only at level 20 but I'm still getting the feeling like the cash received from the missions is pretty small. I was thinking do the amounts of cash received go up as you progress like in story mode? Or do the payouts remain small, if thats the case then I'll be honestly disappointed as then I'll start to feel like they really are pushing for the purchase of the cash packs.

Payouts remain small so far, however we've yet to see heists, the content creator, and stocks.

In my opinion the payouts are fine as they are, it makes everything more rewarding once you get them.

Without farming, yes.

 

The reality is that this isn't real life. People want luxury fast. I understand taking longer to rank up, but money shouldn't be this hard to get.

I have found that making money works best by doing jobs, stealing decent cars and selling them at LS Spray garages, or to Simeon, robbing stores or escaping a bounty on your head for 1/2 an hour where you get to keep the money.

It soon adds up but obviously there are quicker get rich quick schemes too.

 

I enjoy the game and missions, playing with people etc but am well on the way to getting an apartment.

The money I get suites my game play style, I am in a gang of 3 selling the top range RANGE ROVER pays £9.000. But when you get to lvl 30 the mission we just done was worth £25.000 each so it pays to have a higher player then yourself, I was only lvl 18 at the time, Our leader can call up a chopper he then kills the pilot and we have a means to compleat certain jobs. dont buy the first house you can afford, wait till you can buy an upmarket place it comes with the hiest board and Lester will give you better paying job's, we are not there yet i have £168.000 iam looking for a property in the £216/£240.000 range.

We hope that Hiests will bring in better paid job's BUT why would they when people are prepaired to pay ROCKSTAR more money for game money, I hear that £20.00 will give you 1 Million, so jobs wont have the same achievment value.

Does anyone know when heists are to become available? Frankly I'm hoping thats at the top of the priority list.

 

I too can understand the whole leveling up system taking longer, but I'm really starting to feel the imbalance created by the cash packs. At first when I heard about them I didn't mind them when I heard about them but now I feel like because of the cash packs very high levels are required to purchase things that would allow for more things, as an attempt to "balance it". I'm pretty disappointed about it in general.

 

In my opinion I wish everyone would boycott buying the cash packs and as a result Rockstar change the values earned by missions
