Team Deathmatch. How to choose your team?

I've still not got any answer for this question, so I hope by now you guys have some answer for us.

 

Me and my brother usually play in xbox live party and we are in the same crew as well. However, everytime we try to join a team deathmatch, mostly it just puts us on separate teams. I can't tell you enough how frustrating this is. I don't want to play against him, but with him! There is no way to switch the teams they automatically select for you? Or any way to choose how to always stick to the same team with your friends?

 

Another thing is, usually when we end a mission like that, we get sent to different servers. How can that be fixed? I just would like to stay with him on the same server and do some freeroaming.

 

I hope, really hope at least one of you have an answer for this.
