That neither here nor there really.. To be honest its going to take about 10 years to iron out the wrinkles in this and the cost not what the GOP angry about. What we have here is a difference of ideology and something the Repubs been fighting since the New Deal.. For an example, here we have Reagan complaining about Medicare using the same rhetoric in 1961 as we are hearing today.

 

An entire country can't be divided into 2 mindsets, so the whole thing is a farce. If a republican was in the Whitehouse they would be bringing in Republicare, but it is easier to slip through giving the supposed ideals of the democrats. Just a brand. Would you rather buy a drink from Coca Cola or Nike?

 

If a Repub in the White House it would be the reverse.. Cutting social programs that help the middle class, environmental regulations, abortion, gay rights the A typical.. Leftists are the reverse.. The both parties are the same bit completely denies history. I didn't say they were the same I said they are used by the same people to get different results. You want Social programs? Pay the dems. You want anti-abortion? Pay the Reps.

I actually do believe in a group or sect of individuals who make a play at controlling the world.

 

Even the poor unionize to further their ideals and causes. The teachers, the athletes, the automobile workers..why not the bankers and the most powerful among us? Why would only the poor, middle class, and new rich get together but not the old money?

 

naming them is irrelevant but it is clear to see that in Democracy the people do not rule, money rules. So whoever has money rules. In the world only a handful of nations run the world. I say only a handful of people run those nations

Brooksburgh, I completely agree I am just annoyed at the term as it is used to laugh off the very real problems of wealth equality and corporate power.
