Farmers are simply people who are willing to do a repetitive task and spoil some of the fun so they can get to the excitement of having all the best stuff earlier than everyone else. I don't exploit farm, but I did replay missions from time to time if they paid well, because it's hard to get a job that pays good in GTA. Problem is, Rockstar don't want you working for lots of money, they want you to pay for it.

The anti-farming crowd are entitled to their opinion. In fact, they're right about one thing, farming isn't very enjoyable. But that's a reasonable price to pay for making money faster and getting to a high level a little earlier. Face it, you are just pissed because someone is progressing fast than you, by doing something you're too lazy to do: Work.

so now all the ps3 owners have the word replay at the end of a mission but it serves no function. I haven't farmed and most of my level 17 is just from 3-4 stars police chases. once you lose the chopper its easy to lose the cops.

 

but why even include multiple options to replay a mission if they are going to make several patches to fix a non-problem when most of the important stuff is still a clusterphuck?

 

personally i hate doing missions online because the payout is barely worth it. i haven't farmed my way to a high level so im getting sick of all the enemy a.i. playing hide and go seek. wish i was at the level to just throw in a sticky bomb and get it over with.

I think a good solution is to let ppl replay missions but not give them any rewards or money after the second try.. Then players can actually only reply if they particularly like the mission

Or give them less and less by the amount of repeats. So second time you get 75%, 50%, 25%....

 

tbh i don't care for the money from the replays its all about the RP the money will come as you play anyway vd was good to replay as it was fast RP its only like replaying the arms race map solo over and over are those methods going to be nerfed too then to make it fair? as it should be if you remove the option to replay some you should remove from all

Yes, THEY put these things in but guess whose fault it was it got patched. Don't be so quick to throw them under the bus when it was the community that abused a useful function to the point it required patching. It's unlikely these moves were made because of cash cards either. Heists have to have a worth when they're implemented, but not so much of a worth that you might as well exploit the mentioned functions.

 

They don't have to do a thing to the game to entice people to buy cash cards. Thousands of people are going to buy them no matter what Rockstar say, you say or I say. That is a conscious decision the purchasing party will make for their benefit with absolutely no pressure on you to do the same, therefore is so little of a deal than people like you are making it out to be.

 

If I'd offer any kind of suggestion to mindset for those who instantly default to "It's cuz they want our money!", it would be: Think about the 'why' in an objective way that does not involve monetary benefit to the company. If, and only if, you cannot for the life of you come to a solid reason for the feature/patch/whatever introduced, THEN consider how it benefits or doesn't benefit them monetarily. They are a business and money is what keeps them running, absolutely, but not everything they do benefits their monetary gain.

I also am a concerned player but not the typical concerns, in my belief its for the guys that play how its meant to play that they cut out al the farming ways or at least try to because there are still many ways to make money (an armored truck brings between 10k->25k if you rob it) Big scores are coming (the famous heists) and another good type of money making work is play a bountyhunter on a open session because that is what rockstar tried to achieve is a big community (social rockstar) not those guys who play the same mission untill they hit lvl 100 and then tell other potential gta5 joiners that the game was boring.... wait for new coming patches, explore with some guys and make it a good time!

1: go play the already integrated 800missions

2:wait for new update with actual content

I'm not here to fight with you, others or ride any company's anything. Perhaps if you read my post properly, you'd realise I was making a logical point about what should be considered before complaining that everything that is ever done anywhere is because they want our money, which you can opt to NOT give should you desire not to. There is far more to consider than the single-minded approach.

Well the update sort of does that, it does take away the option to cheat but it gives you the ability to play fairly now

And you have different terms and meanings about cheating.. the replay mission was none of them because it was just a "wrong" call from rockstar and we players tought it was okay bcuz it was availabale.. we didnt hack/or used any button code...

This patch addresses bugs and not exploits, like character deletion and such. You idiots don't even know what you are fighting about.
