CHARACTER DELETION AND SOCIAL CLUB QUESTION

Ok, a few days ago, i was on level 43, had a 400k apartmant, and 170k in the bank, only to turn the xbox off, and come back and it asked me to create a new character. I have not made a new character. I go onto the social club, and my person is black, the rank is 0, but all my gametype stats and money are still showing. What does this mean?

 

Also, people say your character wont re appear until the servers are back up, but there are no messages stating that the servers are offline. Is my character still safe?

 

I have exited back, and re entered online a few times, and my character hasn't re appeared.

 

people say restart your xbox, does this mean go into settings and restart, or simply turn off, and turn on your xbox?

 

Has anyone else been in this specific situation, what are your thoughts, and has your character re appeared after how long, and what did you do?

From what I've read, unfortunately, if it's missing from Social Club, it's gone completely.

I can't find anywhere that Rockstar stated that, so feel free to take it with a grain of salt, but I'd rather you expect the worst and be proven wrong than for me to give you false hope and for your character to never come back.

I lost a Lvl 8 and a Lvl 19, now im at 20 again.
