A Solution Instead Of Nerfing Replays

Okay, so instead of f*cking with the replay function, or having to find out each mission people find most efficient to reduce the payout, I have a solution to make the missions more balanced and fun.

 

Let's take away the fact that people grind Violent Duct for the money and think about what if people really enjoy doing said mission?. Why should people be forced NOT to replay missions they may enjoy because of fear of imbalance? Or what about the other half of the community who will find what is most efficient and do that to earn (which there is NOTHING wrong with) like VD, Rooftop etc...?

 

Well, what if the rewards were time based? The longer it takes you to do ANY mission the more you make. This is capped by rank of mission and $ amount. For example, the max reward for any mission before rank 50 is 9k. The mission would have to last 10 minutes. However, if you do the mission faster than a certain time like 2 minutes, you are given a time bonus. This way, not only does AFKing for 8 more minutes make repeating inefficient, but it gives incentive to do better. It also gives incentive to rank up because you can earn more minimum $ depending on rank. The $ earned could be based on the players rank individually, so someone a higher level in that mission will make more than other lower ranked.

 

I think this would help balance the earnings, make doing other missions just as worth it incase you like another one better and makes those longer missions that may be a "waste of time" marginally different, if at all, than quicker mission earnings.

I'm not a big fan of this idea simply because sometimes you go to start a mission and realize the area you need to be is on the other side of the map, and you have to drive there. Missions begin wherever you were before starting them, that means you spend 4 minutes just driving to the location.
