i kill so many enemies but i swear it never goes up. tried on the shooting range but it wasnt working for me, might have to try it again.

Keep shooting lol, no but hitting enemies will, head shots are better, and shooting range helps. :)

headshots are the only way to kill NPCs anyway, within reason atleast

 

it takes like 20-30 SMG shots sometimes to kill with bodyshots.

I was doing a lot of Gerald's missions last night, killing a load of enemy NPC's and getting tons of headshots with my combat pistol. Though, I don't think my shooting stat moved very much, if at all.

 

So, I'm not entirely sure how it works.
