- For all of the cars you can have.

- Hideout for when you have a bounty.

- Spectating other people in free roam.

- Safe place to spawn into when joining free roam.

- Showering all those scars and blood off you.

- Getting drunk / high.

- Escaping wanted levels.

Pretty much the only reason you'd actually need an apartement for are the heists, when they come out.
If you don't care about heists, then a ten car garage will do.

$100 total. $50 for both rent and mechanic. This is once an in game day. As far as I know it doesn't drain while offline.

why save your money for guns when once you have unlocked them you can pick them up and keep them plus guns are cheap in the game so there isnt any point of "saving" for them get yourself a nice car and aparement like me i got the 400k aparement with a coquette (corvette) and iv also got all the guns for my level no problem

There really isn't a reason to get one if you don't want one, as long as one of your crew members/friends have one. You/someone you're teamed up with will need one for heists.

 

You can store cars in a garage. You spawn safely in your garage. You can change clothes in any clothing store. You can get all of your necessities from simply having a garage. And you don't even need a garage if you don't want to have more than one car.

 

 

 

I'll still probably wind up buying an apartment later down the line for the hell of it. For now I'm more than content with my sh*tty 2 car garage in a barn out in Blaine county.

Well considering I'm not living in the game, it doesn't really matter to me. If you're asking me where I'd rather respawn when I log in, garage is fine by me. Quick access to my cars is all that matters to me.

safe spawn and garage. And just to have one I guess where you can get all your buddies to meet up. But yea really no "need' for them. Guns and ammo would probably be a smarter choice but once you progress they don't really cost a whole lot.

Lots of reasons, like being able to just hang out, change your clothes, various house activities, but if your one of those boring people that dont care about nice little features like that, then the Heists in the future.

 

Besides lol, the money for mechanic cleaning and utility is just roughly 200$ per day, also YOU NEED TO PAY THE SAME IF YOU BUY A GARAGE.

LOL this. My 400k vanished. Really don't see how I lost a tower. Hardly a set of car keys is it.
