Otherwise ending a and b dont just feel dark but unfinished and half assed

I also like option c but for multiple playthroughs I would have liked a real alternative like franklin killing michael then trevor or the option of character switchting in the ending

would have been great

If they were going to go this route, it should have been like this:

 

Each of them get a call from the F.I.B that orders them to kill their allies. So Michael, Trevor, and Franklin have a 3 way phone call deciding on a place to meet up. The outcome of their meeting depends entirely on the character you use to arrive there.

 

Use Michael - Trevor dies

Use Trevor - Franklin

Use Franklin - Michael

 

I wouldn't have liked a 4th option. I personally think someone had to go.
