GTA:O Getting Stale?

In my opinion, it is. Whether it's playing a bunch of repetitive/similar missions, or getting trolled in every lobby I join, GTA:O is starting to get old. True, there's a good amount of things to do, but once you've gotten past all the hype it's really not that special. I know they will be adding heists, and that's really all I'm holding out for. I actually haven't been playing it as much as I thought I would. Anyone else feel this way? I think GTA V and GTA:O were both way too hyped up.

agree with you, im already over this game and seriously disappointed. what a fail, I had high hopes for this game but all I can do is rob liquor stores, play sh*tty missions, cant buy any decent guns. die from 5 bullets. gotten up to lvl 7, atleast a few hours of game play and I haven't unlocked anything and have only been offered 2 actual missions from the in game characters.

 

maybe I will feel different if I can soldier through enough bs to unlock anything worth playing

After level 12ish it gets much better imo.

 

Bounties, more missons, survival modes, new characters, turf/gang challenges etc.

This is why I want to hit higher levels as fast a possible. People always bitching about everyone wanting to farm missions. It's because all the damn content is unlocked at higher levels...

The game gets better as you level, that's how R* made it. But, bitches here are upset that people want to level as fast as possible.

i agree with online. i think single player is amazing but has a weak story. my problem is im a rank fiend, so i will continue to rank up even if im not enjoying it very much....but i will eventually get bored of ranking up and there really isnt much to do. id like some crew vs crew matches so there could at least be some competitive gaming element between players instead of sh*tty deathmatchs that dont really matter

i think this game is made for people that play with other people..

 

when im trying to get a good seris of mission races etc.. it gets old fast

 

but when you have a good amount of people that stick together for a hour or more the game is intense

 

Im not in a clan yet.. but this game is all about clans so make some friends and start talking and working with the same players over and over and i think youll change your mind

it does get better at higher levels but seriously don't need to farm/grind to get up to those levels haha. i played about 2 hours each of the 2 days i've played and i am level 22.

I'm sorry but at level 7 you can't have an opinion on this. You haven't played the game at all.

 

Get some friends and do some PVP and try accepting those annoying invites from randomers because the co-op missions get you some good EXP.

 

I'm working long hours right now and only get a couple of hours per day to put into GTAO and have just hit level 12. If its taking you years to level you're doing it wrong.

I don't agree necessarily.

 

It's about playing with your crew, and really just pacing yourself a few hours a day. Don't grind, just do the missions you feel like you are in the mood for and call it a day.

 

Plus, ranking does make the game better. Vast more options open up to do. Also, rockstar said they will continue to support the online experience for a while via free update expansions.

Totally agree with above ^ you can't possibly judge at level 7 the game only gets good after level 20 or something. And yeah i work 12 hrs a day and im now level 24. Steady pace for the time iv actually had to play. Much better experience with friends or decent people that you meet and talk to.
