Should I wait until the stock market is working before I do missions for Lester?

 

I'd imagine that his missions have fairly clear connections and effects on stocks...

Regardless of whether they affect the stocks, you can repeat a majority if not all the missions that are given to you in multiplayer.

I doubt they will have any effect at all on the stock market, considering it's global and would change every time a user does a mission.

 

It only had that effect in SP because the market wasn't global, which is the whole reason Rockstar have two markets.

Betta is BAWSAQ yet Lester's mission affected it. Now sure how that worked but it did.

From how many Lester missions i've done so far (Level 27), unlike single player story mode, Lester does'nt give any stock tips for the online missions. What does seem affected however, is the list of services you can call him and ask for as your relationship develops.

 

The stock tips angle might of course change over time, but as of right now, i'd say you are safe!
