Guess my character isnt coming back..

I was one of the first level 50s 3 days ago, put some much time into my guy, stayed up for 3 days straight playing. And lost him...I had also spent all my cash so now I having nothing.

 

Submit a ticket to Rockstar Support, they just close it without a response.

 

I really dont feel like doing all this over. And even if I do...will my character not just get deleted again

I just thought that so I made a new one, you can always wait for a little bit longer I know how you feel I would be annoyed to, also I haven't really seen anyone complaining about character lost much maybe its ok to make a new one? or you could always wait for R* to give the okay

Nope, definitely not getting your character back.

 

I waited 4-5 days for my first character to come back, finally just made a new one over her slot, and this new one is 100% fixed now I'd say. No problems yet, and I even had to dashboard twice from the game freezing.

You can always create a new character on a different slot. If your old one comes back, that's fine, if not you will have something to continue from. That's what I did.

R* is more concerned with shutting down easy money farms than figuring out what to do with missing characters.

 

Fairly certain I'll never buy another game from them again- which I have no doubt will put them out of business seeing as I am the most important customer they've ever had and millions of others will follow suit just to stay in my good graces.

Hey guys, buy our game. Online is coming in 2 weeks. And will be a total buggy mess, may cause you to waste 70 hours of your life pointlessly. Then you can't return the game. The real reason R* waited to release online.

Sorry to complain, but it is disheartening to waste all that time. You will not like it when it happens to you either.

Dont be sorry about complaining - Rockstar failed massively this time around ... main story line aint even that good, ive had way more fun with gta4 ... They only new thing they brought besides a bigger game world is the online features, and guess what - they only work for a fraction of their customers ... Whats even more appaulling is the fact that xbox users have way less issues than playstation users - I mean gta was the very reason i bought a ps1 back in the days, it was a ps only title remember ?

I thought I read another forum post saying that rockstar told them that losing a character is a known bug, and as long as you DONT overwrite the specific character slot with a new character, you WILL get it back once they fix the cloud.
