I do understand with having no beta we are test dummys right now but even on game betas problems like these ones dont go on for this long

They've made a huge process. Just what, a week ago no one could get it to start. It kept going and the forums were evident. Notice how there's less complaint topics on the forums? Seems as though most issues are being fixed.

Only real issue is the character missing issue it seems like. Something that R* just needs to be honest with. I don't see them being able to recover all lost characters. They should just say that.

This missing character crap has been a butt ache.. lost a level 48 and ive lost the will to play.. ive made a character in slot 2, in-case my slot 1 was repaired. Indeed i want to know their situation on it.. instead of just "Were looking to fix this is"

first time tonight ive been able to play anywhere near properly since launch,ran perfectly so fingers crossed things are least looking up,wont hold my breath about it being the same tomorrow though

Well thanks for pointing out exactly what my thread says and that was stuff is still going missing.

 

I only try to log on once a day and if my char gets deleted then i shelf the game. Im not one of these people that spam retry button all day.

 

The game is broke as i currently do NOT own any other game where character and resources just dissapear and get deleted. To turn a blind eye to these problems and say the games fine or like that fanboy that posted "cry me a river" just simply makes you invalid as a person and nothing more than a fanboy

And to expect a problem of that magnitude to be fixed in a week makes you an idiot.

Rockstar and CD Projekt RED are still a couple of my go-to devs / studios. They have earned it from me over the years.

 

Rockstar has screwed up the launch of GTAO horribly, but it'll get sorted (this coming from someone who currently leveling a character for the 5th time).

 

My issue, and where I have no patience or even worse, respect for R* anymore is they silence on such a major major problem. Where is the urgency? Where is the concern? It's been a week, and they are no where to be seen or heard.

 

I know it is harsh, even mean to say it, but R* is approaching EA in this regard.

 

So yeah they have botched things pretty bad and then went into hiding basically. Doesn't change the fact I love GTAO and I'll continue to play and enjoy it when they finally get their arms around this Cloud issue.

 

Truth is, this launch is going to haunt them, they could have mitigated a lot of anger if they would actually communicate, but they have decided communication is a bad idea.

Ugh I didn't want to see this since I gave in and created a new character today but it's expected, just hope I have my money in the bank once or if my character vanishes.

This is total bullsh*t - game is down again for me ... this isnt even funny anymore ... Ive had issues with connectivity and multiplayer ever since i bought a ps3 6 years ago, sony networks sucks donkey balls and have always done so ... and yes i have xbox, pc and even a mac - and they never have issues like this ... ive even bought multiplayer games for ps3 that has never worked and still doesn't ( civ revolution anyone ? ) Not to mention all the dlc that only works on xbox .... SONY U R f*ckING AMATEURS - and this comes from someone who likes playstation ...

 

Couple the above with Rockstars totally failed GTA online launch, and you have what we see now - a f*cking joke and a rip off of millions of customers .... pffft ... Dudes - get out now, buy yourself a gamer pc and never ever look at a console again .... you wont regret it.

Hitting the retry button is one of the causes of character deletion.
