Why buy a garage?

Guys I'm reading a lot of internet guides about hat online and all of them say that the 2nd best thing to do after buy a smug is to buy a garage even if is the 25k one. Why? What the the real advantage to steal a good car and save it? I can understand buy an apartment cause is cool but the garage?

 

Sorry I have another question. I'm level 8 and I have done all my money with jobs and some robberies,when I enter in a session I see a lot of ppl that are going around,what are they doing? After I enter I instantly pick up my phone and start doing jobs. How can I start a job with my friend to get more rp??

There is no reason. I mean nobody can steal your car if you make it so only you can enter. If they blow it up they need to pay some of the insurance and they are 1 step closer to becoming a bad sport for 2 days(real time)

Any car that goes in there gets a tracker and can be used as a personal car for missions during that session. The alternative is spending two grand at LS Customs each time you swap cars.

 

You also get the mechanic who can deliver it where ever you want within like 15 seconds (I assume that comes with a cheap garage too but I haven't tested).

 

Rather than buying a garage, I just got an apartment which comes with a garage.

 

You start jobs by calling contacts or going to blips on the map. Once you're hosting an event, you have options to invite your friends, crew, or anyone etc.

1. you need a garage to purchase cars from the internet.
2. vehicles that go into your garage are automatically made your personal vehicle with insurance and a tracker.
3. when you are on the street and don't have a vehicle, you can call your mechanic to drop one off.
3.1. If your vehicle has been destroyed. you can call your your mechanic to drop off another car. (storing up to 10 cars in a garage i believe.

It's called progression. You get a garage as soon as you can so you can have vehicles for different uses, then next you progress to a bigger garage or appartment with a bigger garage.

 

At the moment I have the cheap 2 car garage for my Sandking XL off-road for robbing stores where my escape plan is off-road, and a smaller faster car for robberies in the city. I will probably get an apartment next.

Yeah is to have more cars but really what is the utility of having a lot of cars? For the races you can just choose the car you want

 

And for the question about what are the guys doing in free mode??

 

The last I promise xD if I'm an host of a job if I invite my crew members or my friends I get more rp??

Playing with Crew members gives you more RP, Yes.
I havent played too much free mode, but when i do , i do robberies, insane jumps, and fly Heli's around chopping people with my propellers, or skydiving into pools.
