PS3 - Lost incoming voice chat

Hi all, new GTAForums user.

 

Hoping to get some help, had a quick poke around but my search-fu is weak today.

 

Problem is that I have lost incoming voice chat via the my official ps3 wireless headset.

 

Used to work fine, now I cannot hear anyone (friends included), but they can hear me.

 

GTA:O settings:

 

In quick select:

Chat - Everyone

 

In Settings->Audio:

SFX Volume - Minimal

Music Volume - Minimal

Dialog Boost - Max

Voice Chat - Fade Radio Volume

Voice Through Speakers - On (voice chat does come through tv)

Output - Wireless Stereo Headset (Greyed out)

It almost seems to be hit & miss - defiantly no chat with some people (checked with volumes maxed and SFX/Music off; confirmed that they have mics are are hearing other players via PSN messages).

 

If chat heard on tv it is real quiet, if actually comes through headphones even minimal SFX/Music volumes will drown it out.

 

 

Any ideas for a fix?

I am having problems too. When playing with friends I can hear them and they can hear me but then all of a sudden...I can't hear them and they can't hear me...then it will go back to normal....happens intermittedly. Maybe it's my internet? Maybe on Rockstars side? I bought a brand new headset so it's not that.
