I want to buy an appartment and buy cars for my garage and not loose it all.

Bought an apartment nearly a week ago and still there, bought some cars today and still there... So far so good but I'd say it's still a risk just whether or not you want to take it :p

i can't even buy one at least that's what it seemed last night had 50k to try and buy a cheap garage and kept telling me not enough funds anyone else with that problem?

If you want to take a risk, yes. Don't think it's 100% safe though.

If you want to take a risk, yes. Don't think it's 100% safe though.

Ok buy the apartment leave it. Go into a free roam session. Select spawn point property.Go to the online sub menu and select Leave gta online.

 

Wait till you go back to the single player game and see the character transition. Dashboard. Or turn off the console. And I promise it will still be there 2 days from now.

 

Day one character and still got my character.

According to what R* says there should not be any more deleted characters at least for those that created their characters the last 24 hours. This is at least if you exit the game properly. However there are for sure some updates that they performed server-side since they even changed the money of some missions. Despite of what some people say that R* is giving the same advice that we knew for some days now, I believe there is a reason why they do it now and that's because they've fixed something.

 

Also it's true that none is complaining about losing their character that was created the last 2 days. Not yet anyway.

Well, my Vacca disappeared on Sunday... But I've had the apartment since last Wednesday and it's gone no where... So it's quite safe I suppose

You bet wrong. I saved it the same way I have saved every other time and this was the first time I lost something.

Even R* aren't sure about how effective their fix is. They are just encouraging players to start over just to test their systems again. Losing individual items isn't a problem really. Normally if you don't have the item bought, you would also have the money spent to buy it so you can buy it again. But lets start from the very basics for now and check the characters life span. I got my rank 25 character deleted on Sunday and today I dared to create a new one. Let's see if she will make it until this Sunday.

 

PS: Maybe the 24H timestamp was approximate since they didn't make the announcement before around 00:00 PST - 08:00 GMT today, so it isn't a full day yet. Let's see the losses of the following days. Anyway truth to be said, we are still beta testing unfortunately.

Just bought an apartment and a car, started a mission and got stuck on loading screen, restarted my game and I still got everything. I guess it won't get safer to buy an apartment lol.

I bought an apartment and cars last week, day before yesterday i lost everything.

 

 

My advice would be , dont buy an apartment. If you need somewhere to store your vehicles, then buy a cheap garage. Technically speaking we have no use for an apartment at the moment since there are no heist, so why even risk it. If you buy a small garage and lose it , it wont be a huge loss.

I lost my 128k apartment , next time I went Online it respawned me at my old 25k garage with 6k in cash...

THE GAME IS NOT FIXED ! If you believe it is try looking a bit harder on the forums, this one or any one gta online related really ... Yes they have improved the network code and prolly brought in a few extra servers, but its not nearly enough ...

 

and kudos to Rockstar for holding off on selling in game currency, wooptif*ckingdoo give them a medal ....

I've heard of car issues but very rare.

 

So I don't know other than to visit your garage and leave with one or just leave normally. Occasionally.

 

That way the cloud saves what you do like being near them loading the data. Personally I have the app and I can still see all the vehicals. Which is also accessing the cloud
