Making Money in GTA ONLINE

So I've finally gotten past the lag, character bugs, and the various other error messages to playing the game the last few days.

 

However, I've been wondering what is the best way and the various methods o make money in the game.

 

I've noticed missions give only around 1-2K. Races give around 5K only if you finish first. What are the other ways of making money?

 

I've been robbing stores. But I usually only get around 1-1.5K each bust. There isn't an online stock market in online mode right?

 

I've already seen people with over a million dollars in the first week . I barely have enough to buy me a garage and an apartment.

If you play solo session you'll save a lot of money on hospital bills. Just the basic stuff steal and sell cars, deliver to Simeon, rob stores, armoured trucks, missions, races, etc.

Get some SUV's and sell them to Los Santos Customs.

 

Some will earn up to 9000!

I have never come across a single armored truck on the single player mode or the online mode. Could just be I may be driving too fast to keep my eyes open, but I am pretty sure I've never driven past one.

 

What do they even look like?

My 'favourite' way of making money has been Survival and robbing convenience stores. A quick run around the city can get you around 20k from stores, providing you escape the cops quickly(you will start to get 3 stars instantly because it will become 'hot'). Completing Survival takes about 15-30 minutes, depending on how quickly you are and how good at it you are, and nets you 20k. Failing at rounds gets you a nice amount of cash too providing you get to atleast level 5 (which takes roughly 5 minutes).

 

Gerald's missions pay nicely too i've found, and so do getting cars for Simeon. Haven't really paid much attention to the others though.

 

Armoured trucks are good, when you unlock them. But that's not until early twenties.

Hmm they look like um... armoured trucks hehe. I think they start spawning online at 20+ levels. You get a notification and icon on your radar when you drive near one.

 

Also here is a repost of a post I made about stealing cars to sell.

 

 

 

Some good ones to look out for are the Felon GT for $9500 and the Baller and Felon for $9000, but also more common Oracle for $8000.

 

You can sell a car once a day (48 minutes real time) so check the time when you sell. Another good fact is the cars sell value is 10% of the website list price, so check the website for other cars that are valued 70-95k.

rank up a little more than do missions... where im at now missions usually payout 5-10k

 

sell a valuable car every day...I usually sell the escalade for 7000...everyday

 

play survival beat 10 rounds 20k

 

rob armored cars

 

rob stores

 

get a buddy to play races with you in a closed match making session...so you are certain of getting a first or second payout also this will earn you car mod unlocks way faster

 

get the crates that randomly drop around the map

Make a second character, the bank is shared between both characters.

Every hour boost and sell a Baller/Felon with both characters, you make $1800 an hour.
