The Maze Bank parachute into the truck mission is bullsh*t

It's one of the side missions with Dom, and it's f*cked up. I've tried it about 10 times, it's impossible, the truck is like 5m away from you. When Dom jumps down and gets his parachute out, he just goes down and barely moves forward in the air. I go down slowly and move forward so much, when he JUST f*ckING FLOATS DOWN WITHOUT MOVING FORWARD AT ALL. What is this?

Hold the shoulder buttons to slow your descent and forward momentum.

Yeah as soon as you open the 'chute press R1 & L1 buttons - the camera zooms in a bit too

You serious? I completed that on my first try - it's super easy.

I found it more difficult parachuting straight away. Dive as far as possible and then release your chute. You'd think that momentum would make it too fast but apparently not, once my chute opened it slowed almost to a stop and landing on the truck was a LOT easier.

 

The parachute jumps you'll encounter later around the map I think are harder.

You have to learn how to parachute. The mission is really easy.. .and I'm not just saying that, it really is easy. It's just YOU that keeps screwing up.

What did you think I meant? I meant that Dom went down and just literally floated down, barely moving forward. But for me, he moves forward so quickly and doesn't go down as quickly as Dom.

I swear, I just straight face planted at a stupid speed and it jumped right into a cut scene. Keep trying though mate, nothing on the game is impossible..unless it's glitched..so it's possibly impossible. Lol.
