Is there a way to un-insure a car in GTA V Online

Why? You have to pay only 1 time. If you don't want the car anymore sell it or replace it with another one.

The reason I want to un-insure my car is because I have 2 and I want to give one to a friend or just get rid of it so I can get a new car. Is there a way to remove the insurance so I can give it to a friend?

i got my car, the game made me get a car and put a tracker and insurance, i did that and turned off the game. that was the last time i ever saw my car(Phoenix). there is no tracker blip on map and the insurance number is not in my contacts even know the message pop up saying it was added to my contacts.

I know in GTA SP, you can go to Los Santos Customs and deselect the mods that you don't want anymore. Maybe you need to do the same in GTA Online. I haven't tried,

Sounds like your game didn't save to the servers. Sorry bro, it's probably gone.

Checked again and even though I have 2 cars (Elegy RH8 and Obey 9F Cabrio) they both somehow saved to my garage and I got free insurance on both?!!!???

It isn't possible to deselect insurance.

It isn't possible to deselect insurance.

When you add a car to your garage it gets a free tracker fitted.

some cars you cant sell. the cars you get free from the collectors edition can not be sold.

when you buy another car and attempt to put it in your garage, it will ask you which one you want to replace.

 

Drive it into the ocean.

let it get impounded..

 

None of these options are actual ways we can get the tracker off the car, yet we can RT to restart and farm... smh.

I have a question about Trackers. I have 3 Merryweather jeeps (2 soft tops and 1 hard top) in my garage online and only one is insured the other 2 just have the trackers on them with no insurance. Can I give one of the jeeps to a friend with my tracker on it and they take it to their garage or do I just blow the jeep up and walk away?

What you'll have to do is get a Merryweather Jeep WITHOUT ANY TRACKERS and give it to your friend.

I have about 20 zombie choppers in one of my office garage and I have the criminal enterprise starter pack so I cannot sell it. Even if I did not have the pack I wouldn’t want to sell it because it would effect my daily sell limit. Anyone know what I can do?

You can replace them with street cars which can either then be sold for peanuts, or destroyed because they won't have insurance. 

That is, if Timsalabimbo's suggestion doesn't work.
