Armored Trucks...... WTF

Ive finally gotten to the level online where i can rob Armored Trucks. The first 2 i robbed gave me a combined 16 thousand. Ive robbed 3 since and no money bags poppedout to rob. Is this a glitch in the game or are they trying to say some of the trucks wont have money? Because 3 in a row not having money is a bit excessive seeing as sticky bombs cost 600 and you get 3 stars. Anyone else running into this?

Maybe there is a cooldown like selling cars. But I can't confirm this.

I don't know the mechanics but maybe you just robbed an empty truck. Maybe they were on their way to pick up money or something?

Did you kill both of the drivers? In singleplayer I know sometimes the drivers would be carrying the money out physically and it wouldn't be in the truck yet.

I'm thinking empty armored trucks might be an intentional feature. Risk/reward type of thing (although robbing one isn't very risky if you have a sticky bomb and a fast vehicle). I've hit 2 so far. First one was empty. Forgot the take on the second one, think it was only a few thousand (certainly less than $10k).

Level 15, i believe. It's the level at which you unlock sticky bombs.

 

@OP - So, you're up $14,800, and you're pissed off? Hmm.. I'd hate to see what you're like when you lose money..

 

It's probably intentional, like somebody said.

 

I haven't seen one yet either, but i'm pretty sure when it opened up it mentioned an icon appearing on the map. I assume that only pops up when one comes into vision/you're in the vicinity of one?
