My XBox 360 headset is not working.

Is this normal?

I can yell at the clerk when I'm robbing him and he hears me.

I can see my character's mouth move when I talk.

I can see the •))) when I talk in the lobby.

But players don't hear me, and I don't hear them.

It's imposible to do a Rally Style race.

 

Is this fixable?

is your TV feeding back into the mic I had this problem and people got pissed at me, had to lower my tv a bit before they heard me

Or go to your quick action menu by holding select and go down to chat and see if everyone is the option selected.

is your TV feeding back into the mic I had this problem and people got pissed at me, had to lower my tv a bit before they heard me

 

I'm not getting anything through the headset. And when I ask someone to honk or jup to let me know if they hear me theu don't seem to hear me.

Wow I din't even know about that, but yes, it was on "Eveyone" so I guess that wan't it.

Okay, il'' try that. Maybe turn it off, log off then log back and turn it on.

OK also there is an option if your on Xbox for parties as dumb as it may sound make sure your not stuck in a party and make sure under party chat options its set to game. Hope it helps!

Its an Xbox headset what do you expect? Micro$oft charges 25 dollars for a flimsy piece of crap. I've gone through 4 of them..the one I still have broke just by sitting around. Rarely used it and I try to use it when gta online comes out and it is broken. Lol

I checked it and I was not in a party. Thanks. Maybe the headset is broken as Dewan2000 suggested. I guess I'll try a diferent game and see. If you think of anything else, let me know.
