Lost my character... but not my money!

I don't know if this has happened to anybody else, if it has and they've reported it, I'm sorry for the double topic.

 

So a couple of days ago my character disappeared, in the beginning I still had some of my stats on the social club, but after a few hours they disappeared too.

So, because I was only rank 11 and I hadn't played that much I didn't care if I lost my character definitively and I decided to create a new one.

The surprise came when, once I finished the Lamar missions, I realised that all the money I had in the bank with the other character was still there.

So I've lost everything (rank, guns, cars...) except the money.

 

Weird isn't it? Well, maybe there is still hope for those of you who lost your character and haven't created a new one, maybe the soul of your lost character is still somewhere in the servers, waiting for Rockstar to find him.

This has happened to me and others multiple times. Don't hold out hope for getting my girls back from evil Mr Cloud but hey, at least we ain't broke.
