Is playing GTA and then getting in your car dangerous?

I thought about this once after playing GTA IV for a couple hours.

 

I got into my car and thought that the shift from game to real life car was only a minute.

 

I then thought about the millions of people that play this game stoned and how more and more the game is looking realistic.

The driving in GTA V is more like Mario Kart, so unless you're driving with a big gorilla or green dinosaur, you're probably fine.

Ive been driving today and I played GTA Online last night. No problem so far but I did have some traffic.

Just shake your head off a little and get into "real" mode. I think all that constant effort to dodge made my mind sharper if anything at all.

lol i find myself driving alot faster after playing gta 5, ending up doing like 100kph on 70 road thinking im actuallly going 70 lols

I played yesterday and had to make a run to the store. While driving I thought about how if I could only just drive threw all these back yards I'd get there so much faster. I'm sure it would be fun but I think doing it on GTA is a great alternative. Plus I'm not a guy who thinks hurting people in real life is fun. Including myself so all my GTA activities stay on GTA.

 

I'm a 25 year old adult with a wife and a 10 month old daughter. I can differentiate between a video game and the real world.

 

On a serious note. If you play/watch or listen to any violent entertainment and think it's okay to do those things in real life... Do yourself and the world a favor and go seek help. In any way you can before you hurt yourself or others. Just a tip. Remember it's just a game and don't confuse this sh*t with real life.

Anyone that does have problems after playing a video game shouldnt be driving to begin with.
