Rockstar Cloud server's unavailable

A Friend of mine continue gets the error ''Rockstar cloud servers are unavailable'' but i can play fine,

anyone know what the problem can be?

Router settings for his internet connection? Xbox? PS3?

Iam not sure, but hes on Ps3 and using a Wired connection

Support.rockstar.com has updates about this. One thing to try is to reset modem/router and unplug the wire from the console. Cycle the console back on, off again, plug the internet back into it, plug modem and/or router back in, attempt to reconnect.

could also be region specific , although i presume you live close ?

 

and could also go into the ps3 network settings and try changing the primary and secondry DNS to 8.8.8.8.and 8.8.4.4

 

see if that helps

We live 1 mile away of each other, but its working fine for me, and not for him ;), i tell him that to do that

Meh, this sucks, my player is blacked out on social club aswell, stats seem to be fine though. But damn, I want to play again :p

 

Oh and yea, Germany here, so it may really be some kind of EU thing

Im on the 360, wireless internet and I cant get on at all today. Cloud server is down since 2pm when I got off work. From Canada btw.

I was playing for an hour today. Then it appears the cloud went down around 1:30 PST. I swear the cloud is never up no more than 2 hours

I know I feel that way too. I dont know how all these people have made such progress with characters while all this sh*t is happening.

will it ever be safe to play? by the time they fix this it will only be months away from PS4, i always took rockstars side but god damn did they fumble this one, they had so much hype and momentum, they really should have waited for the PS4.
