I know, but all these screens were taken from memory and I was not actively searching out these locations with a comparison shot at the ready, hopefully as this thread goes on i could get more professional.

Especially since that is a very tough angle to get.

These screens are the type that disappoint me a bit. For instance, in the very first pair we see the lifeguard tower. In the pre-release screenshot, there is a surfboard and flotation tube hanging near the flag. Yet in the version we all own, these two key pieces of added detail are missing.

Such is the case in most of the pre-release shots and that is the only argument I'll agree with where we were misled a little bit. I personally thought Los Santos was absolutely booming with detail and life based on those screens. Oh well, whatever.

nice job here.. also by rockstar, because it really is very close, incidental details aside. Lighting looks better, richer. I'm glad they got rid of that bloom effect, that would've become an eyesore on extended plays.

@radug, look at the perspective, although you took it at what looks to be the same exact angle, compare the building behind michaels house to the in game screen, also look at the buildings in the pic below.

I noticed that, but that means they didn't try to make the map look bigger in the trailer. In the trailer the map seems smaller, that's why there were so many complaining about the size of it.

Finally, been asking for this for so long and no one actually did it, too bad the screens aren't like the trailers footage in terms of size.

But while you're guys at it, why don't you make the same thing but for the screenshots released by Rockstar, to see how much different or identical they are?
