Personally I just think all the missions payout should be raised and perhaps lower the payout of violent duct. Why give me 9k for a mission that takes two minutes and 2k for one that takes me 15? It doesn't make sense. I don't "farm" violent duct but every time I get a message for it, I have to join. It takes so little time and pays for the next four times someone murders me for no reason.

Exaclty take hay no banca it pays 9k but the sh*t you have to do for that 9k is stupid compare to what you do in VD.

I am somewhere in the middle. While I feel it's cheesy and takes away the fun of seeing what others have earned.. At the end of the day, it doesn't effect my gameplay. Plus it's kind of hard to be mad at them with Rockstar having the whole money pack thing. I think the only reason Rockstar even patched it was to encourage people to buy those instead of farming.

My opinion? I'm sick of seeing these threads, wait till you hit lvl 40+ (I'm 53ish) then you get certain missions that take the same time as violent duct but you get $18000+ & RP3000 + Of course I want to replay certain missions because I enjoy them, the money and rp is clear bonus. Racing and Survival are prob my faves and both payouts are reasonable but I could prob earn 3 times as much racing in the time it would take me to complete the 10 rounds of survival.

If you're a half decent driver you can consistently make more cash racing than the time it takes to do the majority of different missions.

 

Also regarding the mission itself and the payout, coke costs a hell of a lot more than meth so the payout should be more for violent duct than the other meth missions.

When GTA:V was released, people beat the main story that same day. People got 100% before a week. People got $2 bil from playing efficiently. I doubt Rockstar developed the game for 5 years just to be beaten in less than a week.

I haven't seen a single farmer/grinder complain about not having ways to make money. We're pretty much all over the whole making money thing.

This is where Rockstar f*cked up. There aren't any fun, legit ways to earn money. Most missions are very straight forward. Go to point A, kill some people and then go to point B. Who the hell wants keep doing the same type of missions over and over for only 2-5 thousand, when you can the exact same thing for 9,000?

 

If Rockstar fixed the stocked market, unlocked the casino, had heist ready to go from launch etc etc..then we probably would not have people farming so much. Hell last night, I played the same mission about 4-5 times over. (only beat it twice) not for the 9,000 payout. But because it is the only mission I've done so far with a little bit of variety. I forget the name of the mission, but you have to collect some drugs, then take out some gang members and their cars.

 

In my honest opinion, Rockstar withheld the casino, heist etc in hopes people would buy their stupid money packs instead of grinding the same boring pointless types of missions. Someone found a glitch or whatever you want to call it and Rockstar quickly tried to fix it. I mean it took them what, 3 days to try and patch that sh*t?

If there's one thing I learned from online gaming, it's that as soon as there's a virtual currency involved, people will always find the most time-efficient way to earn it and then farm the crap out of it.
If you remove Violent Duct, some other mission will take its place.

 

If anything, the Violent Duct farming is a testament to how imbalanced the game is at the moment. I mean, I've had missions where I had to follow sports cars halfway around San Andreas for a good 20 minutes and they earned me 2000 $ and then there's missions that reward you 5000$+ just for doing a shootout with 10 or less people,

It's kind of an exploit, but it's fcking necessary since making big money is pritty much impossible -.- Ofcourse you would be done very soon with this game if it wasn't hard, but right now it's just way to 'difficult' to make some money.

It's not necessary... I've earned about 700k doing races, missions and survivals. Races are the way to go, they are fun and take skill to do, making you feel like you actually earned the money. Farming missions is just stupid IMO... Why try to break a game that could possibly give you a lot of hours of game play?

What I like about these people is that they tend to suck, they get to level 50 and don't know how to play or do missions because they farmed the hell out of one mission

I don't farm hardcore, but I did do it occasionally.

 

I liked the experience, easy to find the level, and teams of people working together to make things run as smooth as silk. It felt so good when you got it running at speed and the nice rewards at the end. Was great fun. But I've done it enough now.

 

So now it's reduced to 3K, everyone moves to another mission, and I get to repeat that same fun experience with the same rewards.

So nerfing the occasional mission to bring it back in line with the others - actually fine by me in the end - but if I go home tonight and find they've completely cut replay of missions I will be a bit sad because I did enjoy that.

I'd say Violent Duct just needs to have it's pay brought into scale with the difficulty of the job. I'd say 5k would be pretty reasonable and is in line with other missions in the same class.

 

Some of the other, far more difficult and lengthy missions need to have their pay increased to make doing them more appealing. That's the way to go about this, not disabling replays or just nerfing one mission.
