you probably quit while the cloud was down.

 

Not sure but I don't think so....... Damn R* needs to get it together

How did you end session? I can only assume your progress did not get saved and the last save you had was when you had 19k.

Or you quit without properly saving. You can't just shut your system off, you need to either leave your session to save or just hop into single player and then shut it off. You're own damn problem, don't come to forums bitching especially when you know servers are still tempermental.

I switched to SP

 

Whats more....I started the session with only 2600 bucks

loss of 7 grand? You say you saved and switched to single player.

Easy way to get that money back fast is to:

Sell a SUV to Los Santos Customs. 7000-9000

mechanic? When you log in for the first time you will load in, See you money Then in Red a - with a figure.

 

I signed in and Seen i was deducted £8,500

Nothing to do with the cloud, When i worked it out, it was my Mechanic that was costing me even though am not playing the game,

Lol. No. The mechanic doesn't charge you for time you aren't on the game. And it would take an awfully long time to lose $8500 from the mechanic.

It doesn't matter how you quit the game IF you quit when the cloud servers are down. If you are doing anything, and you don't see the small yellow (gold) spinning circle icon appearing in the lower right, your game is not saving. If you quit the game, you will only save the progress you made up until the last time you saw the cloud save (gold spinning clockwise circle) appear. Wait until you see that icon, before you turn off your game.

For example, doing Quit Game during Summary-Screen after a Mission will not save that progress. :)

Ah ok that makes sense thanks for everyones input

 

I made the mistake once (was in a hurry) and did Quit Game right after we did a Base Invader-Mission at the Summary screen, i didn't even have time to Click "Continue". So it wasn't saved at all.

 

If i had clicked Continue, so it would have sent me to The Voting Lobby instead, THEN i could probably have Quit Game and kept the rewards. :)

 

Better yet, Quitting the Voting Screen or Heading to Free Roam before Quitting would prolly have been even better, but sometimes you are in a hurry lol.
