Gas tank punctures not enabled online?

Seems like a no but has anyone had any luck puncturing vehicle fuel tanks online or seen any official word?

 

It would appear the "sweat spot" still works but no fuel leak, hence no vehicle disable. :bored:

they just seem to explode if you shoot em there a couple of times

had cars explode really easily because of this

usually when I wasn't even trying to blow em up :(
