Crew member can't get into any vehicle without jacking it

First, hello GTAForums community. I have read these boards for years and have finally decided to join in on the fun. I wish my first post was about how awesome of an experience I'm having online, but many of us haven't been so lucky.

My Question is regarding one of my Crew members not being able to just get into our vehicles (personal or random) without car jacking the ride. This isn't an issue of the vehicle access settings. I have them set to "Crew and Friends" yet when one of our crew tries to get in a vehicle with us he can only jack it and drive. At that point the rest of us can get in just fine and roll together.

Is anyone having the same issue with one of their crew? If so, wtf?

Is he holding down triangle to get in? Just tap triangle to get in, hold it down to hi jack (like getting in to a taxi).

crew and friends seems a bit sketchy! Set it to everyone, if someone nicks your car just set it to no-one and he'll be unable to use it

That's what I thought too. We've tried both tapping and holding and it seems the same happens each time.
