rockstar social club not showing anything?

So i'm one of the un lucky ones who's character got deleted (after the patch) and even though my character was deleted I still had all my money, and was joined in my friends crew. Just eariler it said I was in his crew in the pause online menu. Now I log online on my pc and it says I have no social club membership... My account is no longer linked, no friends, no crew no nothing... what gives? I sent in a ticket to rockstar and just now they said anothet update is out? So idk if this is true or old new but

I'm in the same boat. I've got $100k cash and a crew but no characters. R*'s updates are dogsh*t, they're just stalling for time until they have to come clean about lost characters being permanently lost.

 

Me, i'm done with them. They've had a week to fix this issue and it still persists. A shame really, GTAV was so good, but as a result of this farce, i'm less inclined to buy DLC for it or the next GTA game.

I agree sadly. Although i'll give them a chance to bring my character back. Not going through another 45 levels. Starting over 5 times was enough for me. Anyone know about this update though? Rockstar said it would be live today... or is this an old email talking about the original patch? This is rather irritating

Updated 10/8/13: If you have previously created a character but see an empty character selection screen when entering GTA Online, please back out to GTAV Story Mode and try re-entering GTA Online through the pause menu (repeat or wait until Rockstar cloud servers are back up). Do not create a new character in the empty slot where your character should be.

 

If you receive the message 'The Rockstar Cloud Servers Are Unavailable', please return to GTAV Story Mode and follow the steps above. Please do not press “Retry” on the message and do not proceed online with saving disabled, as this may lead to overwriting your existing character.

Nope. This is the message i got on my ticket "We have released a Title Update today that may resolve your issue. To download the Title Update, reboot your console and launch the game while connected to the Internet"

The article says to "try to sign in when cloud servers are back up.." Well what the f*ck ive benn trying for the past 2 days so does that mean cloud servers were down for two straight days?? Dont people need them to be up for to be able to save their progress??? If people are playing right now and are saving fine, doesnt that mean the servers are up and I should be able to sign in with my character???? NONE of this is making sense like WHAT. THE. f*ck. ROCKSTARRRRRRRRRR

I've had the same email and if you look at the date in the link its about the first title upgrade, my deletion happened on Sunday so the patch didn't fix anything.

The funny thing is.. The cloud servers were never down for me. My character played fine all last night, and this morning he's gone. Nothing to do with cloud server messages. I quit like they said to, pause, go into single player then exit. I've never tried hitting the retry button or anything like that. Their "steps" to take are retarded
