LAck of mission variety/repetitive.

Anyone else finding a real lack of mission variety? seems you are just repeating the same missions over the over, and they are very simplistic.Seems like they game was launched way too early.

In the first few weeks:

Planned Heists (using Planning Room in your Apartment)

Content Creator (Create your own stuff )

CTF

Beach Bum

 

It will be interesting to see what you can create!

I see allot of people saying this and i must ask. What level are you?

 

Because im satisfied with the mission variety, im lvl 30+ tho.

 

Not to mention the content creator coming soon...... i mean..... There is so many creative people out there, its gonna be amazing

I had this same thought until I started getting invites from players with higher levels. There are definately some interesting ones out there. I kind of like it though. I'm one of those guys who likes to slowly build up. I enjoy doing these menial missions early and work my way uo to the ones where you have to steal the plane and what not.

 

Some people enjoy grinding to get there fast, but I know I will be playing this game for a long time, so the pace of play is better for me to work my way up versus playing Vduct 100 times

Yeah I forgot about the content creator....although I wonder if people will be able to create actual missions or just races and death matches....

 

 

I already have a good idea for a race though....dirt bikes only race to the top of the mountain...no checkpoints, just find your own path and climb!

I didnt forget about it''it doesn't exist yet, so right now it's irrelevant. Considering that state of the game that could be a ways off.

Most multiplayer games get repetitive but higher levels and added content should make things interesting

I'm having a blast and only play with friends..but we all agreed a lot of these missions put us WAYYYY to far from the target. I spend 3/4 of the mission getting to the drug deal/drop off/vehicle/tanker...or whatever. Then I do the deed and if we're lucky (we always play on hard) we get away the first try. Some missions start you much closer when you retry them.

I think more interesting missions will come in time.

Agreed, it does feel repetitive. Wait until the heist comes out.

Not this fast, a few levels in and your already repeating missions over and over...................

i just want cops vs crooks game type it would be cool if they added a feature with heists where a group could join the heist as cops.

It all has to do with where the host is on the map when he/she starts the mission. i.e. if you are up in Sandy Shores when you start a mission in Vespucci Beach, you will have to drive there first. Sometimes the name of the mission or who it comes from will tell you where it will likely be, but sometimes you just get screwed. I've learned not to accept missions from Gerald when I am up in the north side of the map messing around...unless I have a plane and a parachute haha.

It seems like it would be really easy to make an awesome mission in the content thing. Drive to point A, a cool location, and fight everyone, pick something up, and drive back. That never gets old really if its challenging and in varied locales.

The missions get better as you rank up.

 

At Rank 50, I got a mission to break into Fort Zancudo, steal a Lazer, shoot a Titan out of the sky and then blow up a guy in a car and get back to Martin with a briefcase. That was the best $20k I ever earned.

 

Before that, I was calling in a Merryweather helicopter to take me to a skyrise construction site where I shot the enemies dead (some from the nearby Maze Bank tower), collected a briefcase, fought a helicopter, base-jumped from the site, outran a pursuit team, and completed the mission.
