Tobax
Just done a mission and given a new safe house, get told on the phone that my stuff will be moved for me, which sounds great. I go take a look and find the garage empty and wonder where the car is that I spent tens of thousands on, return to aunt's place (original safe house) and garage won't open. So... where is my car? TheKert
You still have access to Franklin's aunt's house as well. Try looking in that garage.
Hamsterbaffle
You still have access to Franklin's aunt's house as well. Try looking in that garage. Wow. He said, very clearly in his short post, that he already tried that. And if you still had access to Franklin's aunt's house after the move, then your game is different from mine. I found what the OP did: I cannot open the garage or enter Franklin's original house after Lester sets up the new one in Vinewood Hils.
King Kapone
That's an issue that there were a quite a few warning threads about here. Apparently there is a very good chance that if you complete the first Lester mission that essentially awards you a new safehouse, whatever vehicle you left back at Aunt Denise's house is gone. So the only way to avoid this is to bring that vehicle with you to the first Assassination mission and then drive it upon completion to your new digs. Cyper
You don't have access to neither the house or the garage once you get your new safehouse. It's all locked. I also lost my car. Really retarded that we couldn't keep the old safehouse.
Spuds725
I never moved any cars and my white car and motorcycle ended up over there. Your car might be impounded and you will have to get it back (not that the car is that special-- unless you modded it). The white Bravado and Wester Bagger (motorcycle) are Franklin's permanent vehicles, which always follow him. You can't loose them even if you want to. The OP is talking about a custom stolen vehicle that he lost because it was parked in Franklin's aunt's garage.
kasa
I really didn't like to lose the old savehouse; the other one is much too isolated
LeonVegaSuarez
I actually liked having a safehouse in the hood for Franklin. Wish we couldve kept it when getting the mansion...
Tobax
I'm not too worried about losing the aunt's house as a save house but the game really should of been coded to do a one time move once the mission was completed, to move anything in the current garage up to the new safe house since we were losing the current one. After all we are told on the phone that's what is being done so would only make sense to actually do it. Thanks for the answers everyone.
Rule of Two
It's odd we can't use Franklin's old house since there's a phone conversation with his aunt about the house after that mission. Franklin tells his aunt she can't use the house for something, though I can't remember exactly what it was. I do know it had something to do with her female empowerment walking club thing.
