Car spawn system poorly designed

I was looking for an SUV to sell to Los Santos customs, spent 10 minutes driving around and almost only two types of cars had spawned, only minis and another nondescript car.

 

I thought I'd try my luck and change server, the moment I spawn in, 5 SUVS are all sitting at the lights opposite me, now I can't move fro SUV's.

I think each area, at each hour has a different trend of vehicle. I wouldn't blame the system, keeps you from seeing the same vehicle in the long run unless you stay on the same area.

Lol I have the same problem with minis spawning everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Single player has areas for car spawns, it doesn't seem nearly as reliable in online.

Yes I noticed this myself. But if you not just drive around the same 2 blocks but instead drive into a different area of the city, you will have other types of cars spawning there. At least thats how I do it, I can ususally find that car which sells for 9.5k (forgot the name) within 5 or 10 minutes.
