Certain clothes for certain characters, limited tattoo and haircut cho

Recommended Posts

Why do they give you barely any choices for haircuts, tattoos, and clothes, eTC?? I just don't get it. Why if some "crazy" reason I wanted Michael to wear a hat, or Trevor to wear a tank top and shorts... I just don't understand the lame cheapness of haircuts/beards/clothes/tattoos.. And also I miss being able to buy outfits such as military or police outfits.

R* thinks they know best what matches a character.

The times in which GTA was a sandbox game are finally over.

They tell us now what the game is like, what the characters have to to when not on a mission and how we have to play

BTW: I am fine with the limitation of beards and hair, but when it comes to hats and clothes… the only cool haircut for michael is a bald one. I so wanted to make him wear a basecap or something…

Plus 90% of his and Trevor's clothes choices suck. I didn't expect lots of different choices when it came to beards/hair, but its either shaven or unibomber look. Plus the very small choice of tattoos seems odd, since there's so many tattoo shops, just to have 3-4 or so choices. Maybe I can hope for a lot of this to get better in a future DLC

It's done completely on purpose. Those characters will most likely never get any more customisation options. However, on gta online your character has access to hundreds more customisation options; Your character online is the one where you get to pick what they wear, for Trev/Mike/Frank you are limited.

There are so many clothes available for purchase that the number of combined outfits you could create is almost limitless. There are at least 25 different hats available. I bought Trevor 10 bowling shirts last night.

Or are you talking about online?

Rockstar have decided that Michael doesn't prefer to wear hats or tennis shoes. Therefore, they wont let you, the Player, choose.

It's basically the same mentality as in GTA IV where they wouldn't let Niko enter high-class nightclubs because ''it didn't fit his personality''.

It's the opposite of the freedom I knew from previous GTA games. Unfortunately they seem to have used the same approach when designing missions.

Quick quiz: everybody say what hat they chose for Tommy Vercetti.

I agree with OP and others - in my game Michael is bald 'cos that's the only decent look for him. Because to me his eyes look a bit odd he's always got his shades on and he only wears his tux as everything else looks a bit rubbish - would have him in other suits, but i don't like the way he has a visible paunch.

Of course, as I've finished the storyline he could look like a plumber or pest exterminator, etc, but if he can go out looking like that, why the hell wouldn't he consider wearing a hat?

Love the game in general, but the character customisation in SP sucks.

Technically, Trevor can purchase tank tops at Binco / Discount stores. The only problem is they don't look right on him, look a bit feminine.

Have you met Trevor?

I tried to clean him up. He still looked greasy and unkempt.
