how to fix this issue please help me.

i'm on PS3 updated the game to v1.02 and still getting this error message and can't play online.

while it works for lots of my friends just fine so why me?

The last time I got this message I lost my character. If you're able to get back online make sure to Exit Online through the Start Menu. This will save your data. I'm telling you to do this just to be on the safe side. Don't forget to always do this when you exit online. I haven't had a problem with losing my character since then.

 

By The Way: I received this tip from a level 40+, so he had to be doing something right.
