Let us spawn in our owned property after a mission. Makes sense to clean up after a blood bath and to safely put away money. Just finished 1 for Gerald with randoms and we got $9k. After we all went back to free roam we were all at the same place. So yeah hell broke lose. Luckily I had my car near by and escape.

Pro tip: back out with circle or b from the voting screen instead of voting for free roam to avoid this issue.

The other thing you can do is very quickly use the character wheel to very quickly switch back to single player, then launch solo mode to bank you money.

 

Mind you though, if you get quick with the phone you can bank your money pretty quick too.

always before i enter a mission , i enable passive mode... once u come out, its still on... u can safely walk away with your money

Only works in Free Roam. Won't work after a mission is over. You and others will spawn where it ended.

What I do is quit while at the "vote lobby". Works every time. You won't get shot obviously.
