I've added the Lampadati Felon to my "Cop car collection", I like it a lot for a coupé.

 

Do the rims look good ?

The Felon is a sedan, not a coupe...The Felon GT is a coupe

The regular felon is in the coupe class and there is such thing as a 4 door coupe...

No such thing as a four door coupe...

CLS is a four door but it is called a coupe. Also the BMW 4-6 series are called granCOUPE and they have 4doors. The A7 was released as a 4 door coupe, but lately they call it a Sportback and that means its a mix between a coupe and hatchback. 4 door coupes and sedans are different, but i think the Felon looks more like a sedan.So there is such a thing as a 4 door coupe.

Bojangels, was quicker but oh well....

To throw a bit of cynicism at this, but the 4 door coupe was a marketing agreement. Traditional Coupe's are two and two while sedans are at least 2 doors and 4 seats. Very few 4 door coupes existed prior to the merc cls, but with in the successive decade at least 4 have come on the market (3 series gt, 5 series gt and Audi A7) including the cls.

 

To pick a few holes in the above statement. The 4 and 6 are 2 doors (the 1, 3, 5 are 4 drs. The 2, 4 and 6 are 4 drs)

 

As for the felon I would pin it as a sporting saloon (Maserati Quattroporte). The fall of the truck makes it look coupe'd from some angles, but it ain't a coupe (not really going to argue since it is sexy as hell)

Yes a traditional coupe is a 2door car with 4 or 2 seats (depends on the car). A sedan is a car with 4 doors and 5 seats. A coupe with 4 doors has 4 seats. Some 4 door coupes have 5 seatbelts but its still a 4 seater, because a big person cant sit in the middle of the back even if it has a seatbelt, only a child can sit there.

Yes the 4 and 6 series are 2 doors that why they call it a coupe. But they are also available in a 4 door coupe and thats called a grancoupe (gran means big/large), so that means its a LARGE coupe with 2 extra doors. And no, the 2 series is a coupe with 2 doors. Yes its also available in 4 doors but thats called the Active Tourer.

Mercedes started this ages ago with the CLS so audi followed it with the A7 and bmw with the 6 and 4 series grancoupe.

Like you said no need to argue further, we should go back OT.
