I used to be angry at the "drifting physics" in this game but the more I read these threads the more I realise that hey, people are having fun doing this so I guess that is what drifting is all about anyway:)

It's so hard to drift in GTA V, you'll be better off playing forza honestly. You can argue up and down the street, but it's barely possible and not worth it. Now if they implemented a "sim" mode like Mafia 2 did then it would be very possible.

 

The cars definitely have enough power. They have too much grip.

It seems like snapmatic pics, then add photoshop filter and blur. I'm sure there's tutorials out there on how to do it.
