Fix for the Vanilla Unicorn occasionally becoming locked

 

MY AZZ IT'S FIXED!

The bouncers won't let Trevor go to the back, the backdoor is locked and poor widdle Wade is nowhere to be found!

I can get in the office by climbing on top of the building above the office and doing the character switch, but the outside door is still locked and the bouncers will beat you if you try to come out. Franklin or Michael can't go there either.

It's like the mission Hang 10 was never done.

This is even more stupid. Trevor is still getting weekly payments from the property!

This is becoming more common by the day... It's happening to me as well, and i can't reach 100% because of this stupid crap. I guess the only way to fix this, is by starting a new game, but i can't say for sure.

I've spent a lot of time trying to find anything not done. Looked at all emails for all characters, called everyone....ect. Nothing!

Ya don't know if reverting to pre-update version would work or not and I don't think I have a save that would be worthwhile.

This problem happened to me before the update, and it still happening with me, and other people. I'm not gonna start a new game, at least not now. Some people sent complaints to Rockstar about this, about not fixing it even after the update. I guess our best shot is to wait for a new update or start a fresh save game.

It must be the order of missions that some done that made this glitch.

I know it wasn't cheat related. I don't use them.

I created an account here just to reply to this thread and see if Rockstar will/can fix it.

 

I have exactly the same symptoms: Trevor can't get past the guard to the backstage area, can get transported into the back room via the roof trick but then the bouncers will fight you, back door is locked, getting $5k per week from owning the strip club. I'd add that I can see the "T" mission marker when I am outside the club, but when I manage to transport into the club via the roof trick, the "T" is gone.

 

Also note that this is different than the "locked out" or "locked in" problems with the strip club that I see everywhere. Those are similar, but what's described here in the OP is not the same bug.

 

I was foolish/desperate enough to try an assassination mission at this point to see if it helped, but it didn't and of course that hurts the gameplay experience because I won't be mega rich.

 

Fix this, Rockstar. Your recent patches did nothing to fix these Vanilla Unicorn problems. It kinda seems like you're blowing this, huh?

It happened to me during the whole game, and as you know, there are missions inside and the lap dance that counts towards 100%. I kept switching characters until Trevor spawned inside the club. And at the second time was ridiculous, i took a sniper rifle and went to the other side of the street and shot at the green door, and incredibly enough, it opened(although this trick it's not working anymore). It still bothers, because i can't reach 100%.

My problem is the same as yours. I even done another Lester mission to see if it did anything............NOPE!

Like I said before, I bet it's the order we performed the missions.

I had the same problems but found out that the easiest way to get in, which worked for me, is to take Trevor and make him climb to the highest point on the roof, switch to franklin and make him stand right in front of the club. Then just switch back to Trevor and he should be in the club. There are no strippers only horny men so if you were looking for a lap dance don't be surprised.

But you can't do anything..save a game......start a mission......or leave by the strip club......you will get beat.

 

I'm done with this game until they get it fixed. I'm even thinking about taking it back to GameStop for a refund.

I just noticed when switching to Trevor (who was in the club when I switched and getting drunk) that I have this issue where Trevor isn't the owner and there is no safe house. I wondered why when I went into the private room area the bouncers started to kick my ass and killed me. No idea how long it has been like this and I did a lap dance in there later hoping to somehow fix the glitch and it acted like it was my first one.

 

Rockstar has become a damn joke with this game and all the freaking game killing glitches. Had one a few days ago where the mission marker wasn't showing up for the only mission that was available at the time.

 

This better get corrected. No frigging way I am going to redo whatever progress I have done from when this safe house was showing up.

I am experiencing a strip club glitch here (x360).

 

I did the "Hang Ten" mission before "Monkey Business" and now the Vanilla Unicorn isn't a safehouse for Trevor.

 

I cannot save vehicles there, I have to pay for drinks, I have to pay for dances and the bouncers will fight me if I attempt to go past the curtain. Bouncers refer to me as "Mr. Philips" as I enter the club still however.

 

Rockstar, please fix this glitch!

First time I played the game I didn't encounter this glitch however after updating the game I now have this glitch.

I found a workaround to get the final part of the Big Score to start!

 

I switched from Franklin to Trevor.

Trevor spawned in the club, drunk on his azz!

I waited for him to sober.

Walked past the bouncer leading to the back.

Turned to the lap dance area and beat the two bouncers that followed. That got me a star.

Went out of the lap dance area and made a left into the dressing room area......went up to the mirror.

Turned around to head to the back office and I spotted Lester!

Walked up to him and the cut away started!

 

I'm not gonna play it out since Franklin performed the second assassination mission....again.....just to get more money. I'm gonna step back to a save before that and see if I can get Trevor to do it again.
